Compliance assessment in five minutes
Fifteen questions, five areas, a score per area and your priority friction points. No sign-up, no data transmitted: everything is computed in your browser.
How to use it
Answer with your company's actual situation, not the one described in the procedures. An optimistic assessment is useless: the point of the exercise is precisely to surface the gaps.
If you hesitate on an answer, choose the more cautious one — uncertainty is itself information about the framework.
At the end you get a score out of one hundred per area, a risk level and a prioritised action list. You can copy the result or send it to us to discuss.
What the assessment covers
What the assessment covers
Fifteen questions across the five areas that together determine your ability to demonstrate compliance.
Customs compliance
Written reasoning behind tariff classification, availability of the supplier declarations underpinning your origin proofs, and the ability to reconcile declarations lodged in your name with your accounts.
Export control
Classification of products, software and technology against the control lists, control of technology transfers outside the EU and Switzerland, existence of an internal compliance programme.
Sanctions & embargoes
Screening frequency and traceability, ownership chain analysis beyond the direct counterparty, actual presence of no-re-export clauses in contracts in force.
Organisation & AEO
Written procedures actually applied, single-person dependency, and your current position on Authorised Economic Operator status.
Data & automation
Single, locked compliance attributes, existence of automated blocking controls, indicators tracked by a named owner.
Output
A score out of one hundred per area, a commented overall risk level, and your areas ranked by priority — with a link to the corresponding practice.
Frequently asked questions
Does the assessment replace an audit?
No, and it does not claim to. An audit examines documents: declarations, origin files, authorisations, screening logs. This assessment examines your stated ability to produce those documents, which is different but useful information — in most cases, being unable to answer a question is already the finding. It is there to place the exposure and decide where to start, not to quantify a risk.
Are my answers stored anywhere?
No. The computation happens entirely in your browser: no answer is sent to a server, no cookie is set, and nothing is retained once the page is closed. If you want to send us the result, a button prepares an email whose content you control before sending.
How long does it really take?
Between four and seven minutes if you know your company's situation. If several questions leave you hesitating, it takes longer — and that is itself the most instructive result: the points you hesitate on are the ones an inspector will find first.
What should I do with the result?
Start with the areas ranked priority 1 and 2, addressing what exposes you immediately rather than what is easiest. If you want to test the result against an outside reading, send it to us: the first thirty-minute conversation is free and ends with an explicit opinion on what deserves a budget and what does not.
